With a background in PR and Marketing, Emma was the founder of The Block Shop with her cousin Sarah. She loves the business she has created and the beautiful team of women she gets to work with everyday. Walking into her home is like stepping into a magazine shoot for a Hampton’s house.

With budgets low and energy lower, it was a real struggle for some teams this week as they tried to finish everything to give their homes the so-important street appeal that could win them the competition – and a Ford Mustang Mach-E to take home as their own!
So, from huge trees trucked in at the last moment to overcoming issues with landscaping and more, this was a race to the wire.
The interiors of their homes might be done, but the Block is far from over, with the backyard the first of two outdoor areas that have to be tackled.
The biggest space they’ve had to deliver and with a special guest judge on board – none other than landscaping guru Dave Franklin – this was one of the toughest challenges yet.
So, from fun-filled family spaces to secluded gardens, with fire-pits, barbecues, swings and more, every combination of the great Aussie backyard was presented as the Blockheads went all out to the get the last remaining $10,000 win that could help then wrap up their homes… so who would win?
After two intense months, it’s finally time for The Block contestants to finish their interior of their homes - but it’s not going to be a simple task.
With both a final bedroom and the laundry space to tackle, they’ll be jumping between serene retreats and practical work areas… and it quickly proved a tough double. But while some struggled, others rose to the challenge to present..
