About the Artist
My creative style showcases the strong feminine shape, using pops of colour and silhouettes of the female form and art that pays homage to classic fashion eras over time. You may also find more abstract and contemporary pieces curated to suit any interior design or room. Any piece from my vast collection would be perfect as a grand entrance statement, a bedroom focal point or any room you desire. They are multi-media pieces utilising textured oil paint, whilst incorporating antique jewels & vintage real-life materials. Each original painting takes 3-4 months to complete with over 150 hours of work in each. Each creative piece curated by Louise Owen (elaurante) has its own name, unique history, and through the use of texture, paints, colours and lines, tells a story. For each original creation, I have also created limited edition reproductions on Framed Fine Cotton Rag or as a full size reproduction on Canvas.
About this creation - Shades of Summer
The texture in the background has been shaped by the previous abstract art where the sun was setting at the end of the day and impressions of the large floral designs have been left. Our heroine is standing at the bow of a luxury yacht, her veins flowing with creativity and womanliness confidence; she is captivated by the the view ahead while the wind is blowing towards her, with a simple nod and a sassy flick of her fabulous hair. It’s here where she is noticed by all and reflects not on her beauty, just the view around and here it is we find her. Original Artwork on stretched canvas 60 inches H x 30 inches W (152cm x 76cm)
