These classic Rustic Shelves are hand crafted out of Victorian Ash Timber. They are simple, sturdy and very easy to install. The timber is hand selected for its feature grade qualities and is complemented by the black metal brackets that can be mounted to have the hardware above or below the shelf. Please note; this listing is for an individual shelf only, but can be purchased in greater quantities and displayed as open shelving as photographed.
Pieces in Jemmervale Designs' Modern Farmhouse Range are handcrafted out of sustainably-sourced Victorian Ash Timber. They are then hand-rubbed with a high-quality, plant-based, 0% VOC Hardwax Oil that darkens the timber to a rich brown and is also provides a durable protection for the timber.

This shelf is also available in a 70cm or 90cm width.
Installation:
Each shelf also includes beautiful small black brackets that can be used below or above the shelf. In addition we include plaster wall mounts for easy fastening to any plastered wall surface. Recommended Equipment for Installation:
- Tape measure
- Phillips Head Screwdriver
- Pencil
- Spirit Level
- Stud Finder
Please note that all our timber is hand selected for each shelf, however as Victorian Ash timber is a natural material it will vary in both colour and grain to the photos above. Features of Victorian Ash include fiddleback markings and visible gum veins. The timber may also range from varying shades of brown. As with all natural materials, Victorian Ash is affected by light and overtime the character and colour will change slightly. These natural features are a unique and beautiful characteristic of the timber. Please also keep in mind timber can expand and contract due to varying temperature and environmental conditions in your home
