About the Artist
My creative style showcases the strong feminine shape, using pops of colour and silhouettes of the female form and art that pays homage to classic fashion eras over time. You may also find more abstract and contemporary pieces curated to suit any interior design or room. Any piece from my vast collection would be perfect as a grand entrance statement, a bedroom focal point or any room you desire. They are multi-media pieces utilising textured oil paint, whilst incorporating antique jewels & vintage real-life materials. Each original painting takes 3-4 months to complete with over 150 hours of work in each. Each creative piece curated by Louise Owen (elaurante) has its own name, unique history, and through the use of texture, paints, colours and lines, tells a story. For each original creation, I have also created limited edition reproductions on Fine Cotton Rag.
