Home is our nest, our safe place, to recharge and rest, explore and be our unguarded self. With tenderness and care our attachment grows. Home is about pleasure and nurturing, about varying ideas of physical and emotional comfort. It's not what you do there that matters most, often it's what you don't do. Home is a world you can change.

About the Author

An enabler for others who want to turn their houses into homes, Victoria was Sydney's first stylist, has been a fashion editor for Vogue Australia and Cosmopolitan, and a creative director. She established The Film Business, was the founder and designer of The Russell Hotel and The Bathers Pavilion in Sydney. Grateful for the lessons learned from travelling widely she has a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Hons). Her other books are The Bathers Pavilion Cookbook, One, Colour and Real.
