It is this mix of wanting to stay within the lines and also get messy that gives her work an interesting texture and depth. Vanessa’s creative expression is always evolving. Her still life paintings capture a moment and show the beauty in small things. Her inspiration comes from getting out into nature, and her obsession with interior design, these both play out in her work whether through subject matter or colour palettes and textures.
