Our beautifully handcrafted Victorian Ash Cake Stand is a wonderful way to display your cakes, cupcakes or other special food. Perfect for every occasion, whether its a simple family afternoon tea, to displaying a wedding cake or celebrating any of life’s precious moments. The design is simple, and sturdy, allowing your cake to be safely showcased. Each cake stand is coated with a food-safe wood treatment oil. Jemmervale Designs take great pride in the craftsmanship of all our pieces. Our timber is hand selected for each item out of sustainably-sourced Victorian Ash. All our products are designed by us, handmade by us and lovingly packaged by us. CARE INSTRUCTIONS:
Wipe the cake stand down after each use with warm soapy water. Do not submerge your cake stand in water. Do not place your cake stand in a dishwasher nor leave it to soak in water. To maintain your cake stand, it will need re-oiling with a food-safe wood treatment oil as required.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Please note that all our timber is hand selected for each cake stand, however as Victorian Ash timber is a natural material it will vary in both colour and grain to the photos above. Features of Victorian Ash include fiddleback markings and visible gum veins. The timber may also range from a pale straw colour to a slight pink tone to a golden hue. As with all natural materials, Victorian Ash is affected by light and overtime the character and colour will change slightly. These natural features are a unique and beautiful characteristic of the timber. Please also keep in mind timber can expand and contract due to varying temperature and environmental conditions in your home.
