Hello,
I’m Anna, and I am a self-confessed homewares lover! I’m a creative at heart and from a young age I have always had a passion for all things styling and design.
I started my career in real estate, purely for the love of home styling and design; I then moved my creative heart into the kitchen where I was a chef for over 8 years. Creating beautiful and colourful plates of food was, and still is, a true passion of mine.
My father Greg, who is a true supporter in my creative flare, also designs and creates handmade bespoke pieces of furniture from wood veneer. So you could definitely say that the apple does not fall far from the tree!
My passion and creative background therefore has planted the seeds for the inspiration of starting my own business, Bohteak. I grew up on the Mornington Peninsula, so with that I had a focus on making my way back to my home roots to bring an idea and a focus on a lifestyle collection of curated modern coastal bohemian furniture and homewares for you to love and source from a locally owned business.
Our collection is sourced and designed with a focus on using sustainable, organic, natural fibres and materials, that are ethically made with an emphasis on artistic integrity.
After extensive research, I have been incredibly lucky to have sourced an amazing team of skilled artisans globally with a focus on exceptional craftsmanship and quality. Working alongside this wonderful team as they bring my designs and ideas to life has been a forever dream of mine that I am now living every day. With the dream of creating and sourcing unique bespoke pieces for your homes, I could not be more proud of what has been created here at Bohteak to date and what will continue to unfold with our journey moving forward.
