The Block 2022: Scott Cam's Living and Dining Reveal
- 28 Sep 2022

As Scotty revealed his Living and Dining Room he said to the contestants,
"Welcome to the best house on The Block" let us show you inside.
From the huge open fireplace – complete with fittings for cooking! – in a brick feature wall to the ten-seater custom dining table from Christian Cole facing a timber dresser, Scott Cam’s Living Dining area was filled with luxe comforts to redefine country chic.
With exposed timber beams above and herringbone brick pavers below, the room is home to custom artworks, two lounges with paired occasional chairs, coffee tables, porta-timber wall accents and ceiling to floor sheers, everything Scott needs to bring the heart of his home to life!
"Scott Cam's house feels like a home", Tom and Sarah-Jane said.
Scott's house was styled to perfection, featuring beautiful artisans and small business's such as Mimo Pots. And lets just take a minute for the 'Soft Clay' Lounge' by Globewest, that colour is so beautiful we want to add to cart immediately!
LOVE this rattan coffee table by Dovetailed and Doublestitched, so versatile featured here in a country home and could easily appear in coastal and hamptons!
With lots of op-shop finds and beautiful artwork Scott's room has a homely country feel and we LOVE it! Artwork featured is 'Songlines' by Simone Thomson and 'Gumnut stripes and the tall vase' by Alicia Cornwell.
Another incredible piece of custom furniture by super talented Christian Cole, insert memory making and a lifetime of dinners around the table!
Cachet Furniture supplied the amazing Winton Sofa in Sand Weave. I am really loving the styling in this house especially the candles from Studio Mckenna. It really is the little touches that make this house a home.
The devil is in the details and Scott Cam's house os full of them!
