Meet Shaynna Blaze

When Shaynna Blaze joined The Block ten seasons ago, her focus on practicality and storage shook the contestants. Almost a decade on, and thank goodness - everyone seems to FINALLY be getting the message!

Shaynna is an award-winning interior designer who has created stunning interiors in residential homes and commercial spaces for more than 20 years. She is a successful product designer with her own range of furniture, artworks, lights and candles.

Judging design continues to be one of Shaynna’s big passions and she knows every year that The Block contestants have their work cut out for them.

We always knew she was the best gal on the block - now we have proof! Huge congratulations are in order for our own Block judge, Shaynna Blaze, who took home the AACTA (Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts) Subscription Television Award for 2018 Best Female Presenter, winning after her third consecutive nomination.
Oh, and as if that’s not awesome enough, her other show, Selling Houses Australia, also took out a gong, scoring an AACTA for Best Lifestyle Program.

Shaynna might just be the busiest designer in the country - she has launched her own YouTube TV channel and written two books – 'Design Your Home' and 'Design with Colour and Style'.
She has collaborated with a number of well-known Australian brands and, in addition to her filming commitments for Selling Houses and The Block, last year she began her new role as an expert on Nine’s renovation program, Buying Blind.
