Our favourite products featured on The Block this year
What a series it's been. And my goodness - those apartments! How great do they look? Full credit to those of you at home who've managed to get through the last few months of watching without wanting to purchase precisely EVERYTHING in EVERY apartment. We are not you. Oooooh no. In fact - we can barely keep track of all the goodies we've wanted to take home and plop in our house. Here are but a few of our faves. What are you waiting for Blockheads - get shopping!
Who: Emma, Co-Founder and Director of The Block Shop
My favourite piece this season was the Kate Mayes artwork from Courtney and Han’s guest bedroom. I love the different layers of colour, in fact, I love it so much I purchased a print that is now hanging happily in my kitchen.
Who: Clare, Editor The Block Shop Insider Style Blog
Bianca and Carla have consistently shown they've got an eye for design. But when they opted to put that amaze-balls black pendant light above their dining space, I knew they were my Interior Spirit Animals. I love everything about it! I love it's shape, and the way it hangs delicately in that enormous space. And I love how well it works back with the colours of their kitchen. My favourite piece on this year's show, by far.
Who: Phoebe, Advertising Manager
Featured in Courtney and Hans redo master suite, the two abstract artworks. I love the simple lines and shapes and soft muted colours. I loved both the 'Aurify' and 'Gild' hanging next to each other. Stunning! Now where to put them in my house!!
Who: Rach, Product Approvals
My favourite is the Saddle Stool from Kerrie & Spence's winning kitchen they are just perfect for sitting & chatting with family whilst I am cooking up a storm on a lazy weekend.
Who: Renee, Customer Service
I loved Courtney's quirky personality and how it showed in some of her styling choices so my top pick is the 'Druids' as seen in the master ensuite, they are super cute and would make great Christmas gifts!
Who: Harrie, Interior Designer
Linda the Llama!!! It's quirky and fun, but also timeless as it is in black and white so it can suit any space!
Who: Holly, Customer Service Manager
'Don't Fence Me In' - It's got colour, nature and it's funky - all wrapped into one print. It's a good price too!
Who: Jennifer, Sales and Marketing Manager
Daybreak at the Oasis by Joan Blond artwork, which appeared in Kerrie & Spence's Living Room (redo). I love this artwork so much, every time I look at it I see something else. The colours are nice and bright (a must for me!) and as busy as it is, I can't help but feel I am on holidays looking at it. It's at the top of my wishlist!
Who: Ash, Blog Manager
Navy leather say no more! The stylish, relaxed but classic occasional 'Moss Chair' as seen in Bianca and Carla's living room I continue to obsess over...my mantra if I still love it at the end of the series then I purchase!
