Mitch and Mark looked to create a soft and earthy space in their Master Bedroom. They introduced a custom made TV-Mirror by FRAMING TO A T above a longline dresser opposite the bed.

When styling a bedroom, the TV-Mirror is the perfect way to disguise the TV while introducing a beautiful mirror to the space. "This is a way of having the TV in the space - or not -you have the choice with a TV-Mirror," Mitch and Mark tell Insider Style.

Mitch and Mark visited FRAMING TO A T in store to see the full range of frame options available. They decided on the Modern Rustic Oak Frame, which was the perfect tone of oak to complement their timber bedside tables and timber accents in the space, bringing warmth to their interiors.

“We chose an oak frame that was the perfect complement to our bedside tables and an oak frame that we styled in the space. Our builders built an alcove based on the measurements of the TV-Mirror so we recessed the wall mount into the wall, with only the frame sitting proud off the wall. This is something I would encourage anyone who is renovating or building to take the extra step and consider doing. It really looks just like a beautiful mirror above the dresser… until you turn it on,” Mitch says.

“And that’s important because it suits anyone whether they want a TV in the bedroom or not. We all have different preferences some people hate TVs in bedrooms and they have a real aversion to them, whereas other people insist on them, well a TV-Mirror allows you to have it and hide it with a mirror!

Tanya and Vito selected a Modern Matte White TV-Mirror that sits perfectly in their master bedroom cabinetry.

Tanya and Vito spoke with FRAMING TO A T's Design Consultants over the phone to discuss a custom made TV-Mirror by FRAMING TO A T. They were looking to integrate a TV-Mirror into their cabinetry.

They discussed their ideal TV-Mirror sizing for the allocated space and Tanya knew that she was interested in a fresh white frame. Opting for the Modern Matte White Frame for this space, and it gave Tanya and Vito’s bedroom interiors a beautiful lift.

"We loved our TV-Mirror - It's a TV in a frame- and it looks just like a mirror!"

"We went with a beautiful white profile frame to match our Hampton-style home, with a bit of a gold inlay to match the brass features in the room and it just looks like a stunning mirror when hanging on the wall,” Kirsty tells The Block Shop.

Kirsty and Jesse created a large and open Master Bedroom this week on The Block. The bright, white ceiling was a strong design feature in this room with beautiful, angled skylights.

Kirsty visited FRAMING TO A T in store to explore their range of frame options. Looking for a fresh, white frame design, Kirsty was drawn to the Modern Matte White Frame with Beveled Edge, paired with a subtle Gold Inner. This was the perfect complement to the scale and features of her space. While the bevel worked with the element of the angled ceiling, the touch of gold picked up the gold accents and styling in the room.

“We went with a beautiful white profile frame to match our Hampton-style home, with a bit of a gold inlay to match the brass features in the room and it just looks like a stunning mirror when hanging on the wall," Kirsty says. “You wouldn't even know it was a TV!”

The advantage of working with Framing To A T, she added was that not only did they end up with a television in their master – something the pair insist on at home – but in a way, the judges could see worked perfectly with their style.


Josh and Luke featured a stunning TV-Mirror with an antique patina in their winning Master Bedroom.

This season on The Block, Josh and Luke introduced a TV-Mirror to their Master Bedroom to disguise the TV at the end of the bed. With venetian plaster walls in champagne pewter, this was the colour that they wanted to pick up on for the TV-Mirror design. Luke and Josh opted for a 55" TV-Mirror with a frame with an antique patina that they felt was a beautiful complement to their textured feature wall behind the bedhead.
