The Dog Room, a living space for mans best friend is an award-winning kennel created by Pen, in partnership with architect Michael Ong. The kennel is locally made here in Australia with consideration for its social, economic, and environmental good.
Social Enterprise:
The production of the Dog Room is in partnership with Help Manufacturing. HELP is a social enterprise committed to enhancing the lifestyle, independence and ambitions of people with disability. The manufacturing arm, provides meaningful employment opportunities for people with disability so that they can develop new skills in a supported work environment.
Materials:
The Dog Room is made with a hand-welded aluminium frame and a series of marine ply panels which are carefully detailed to create a distinctly clean appearance. The Dog Room combines minimalistic design with architectural build principles, a well-resolved design allowing you to Buy Once, Buy Well.
Bedding:
The Dog Room now comes with custom bedding through collaboration with Aussie Wool Comfort and is 100% Australian wool with a cotton outer drill cover. The 100% allergy free wool allows your pet to feel warmth without over heating.
Panels can be replaced if damage occurs maintaining longevity of the kennel.
