Our little Round Stool has been handcrafted out of Feature Grade Victorian Ash timber. Each piece is hand selected for is natural features such as gum vein lines, knots, fiddleback markings and/or colour variation. The design is simple, yet charming, and great attention to detail is given with the rounding over of the seat and legs. The joinery techniques used also make this stool very sturdy and appropriate to use as a stool, or as a little table. Each stool is sealed and then a satin two pack finish is applied. This is a water-resistant and durable finish that looks amazing too! Also featured in some photos is our Bath Shelf with a routed slot to hold an iPad/Tablet.
There is no assembly required for this item. It comes assembled in the box, so all you need to do is unpack it and place it in its new home!

Please note that all our timber is hand selected for each stool, however as Victorian Ash timber is a natural material it will vary in both colour and grain to the photos above. Your piece, chosen for its feature grade characteristics may include knots, small holes, insect trails, gum vein lines, small cracks etc. The timber may also range from a pale straw colour to a slight pink tone to a golden hue to a darker almost walnut colour. As with all natural materials, Victorian Ash is affected by light and overtime the character and colour will change slightly. These natural features are a unique and beautiful characteristic of the timber. Please also keep in mind timber can expand and contract due to varying temperature and environmental conditions in your home.
