There is something about the ocean that just makes my heart happy and calms my soul...I sat by the ocean, listening to the waves crashing on the sand, smelling the salty air and contemplating life and everything in between...
I've given myself the freedom to play and experiment in the studio and this has been an intensely satisfying exercise and a fresh new direction for my art. The interesting thing is that I am using the same tools, paint and colours with the results being so different yet still very familiar to my original style. These artworks are created with thick layers of paint and a palette knife.
