From the neon “Oslo” sign to the sky-high “Palm Breeze” mural, blue and white striped seating on PGH Blanco brickwork, this courtyard brought a slice of the Palm Springs high life to St Kilda! Softened by Duck Egg, White Blue and Green cushions, pink and green throws and with a cactus garden straight out of the desert this is, as judge Shaynna Blaze said: “Pure joy!”. But it was the practical touches that grabbed The Block Shop team’s eye – that Galaxy drop-in barbecue, the dual Thermastrip heaters and all-weather Yamaha speakers, plus of course the on-trend concrete outdoor dining table with white-tub chairs that makes this a true outdoor room!
