With Block gardening guru Dave Franklin on board, El’ise and Matt went all out to deliver the best front garden of the year and here at The Block Shop, we’re wondering if they just might have succeeded! Cobblestones and inset tiles, then mitred Bluestone pavers are the perfect base for this leafy entrance mixing the classic beauty of a heritage home with modern glam. Judge Darren Palmer was justifiably impressed by the pair of cumquat trees and Japanese maple taking centre stage, just made to admire from the cast iron outdoor setting or timber bench. And the icing on the cake? That beautiful custom “Killeen” plaque. The grand old lady is back!
