The Blockheads share their final thoughts before beginning The Block

Best friends Ben and Andy couldn’t be more ready to roll.

“We aren’t nervous at all, we’re just excited to get started and we hope we don’t stuff it up,” Ben said.

“We’ll need a good night sleep so we’ll head to bed early,” Andy said.

Competitive parents Chris and Kim are keen to get going and see what’s in store.

“I am so excited, it’s the opportunity of a lifetime and I can’t wait to get going,” Kim said.

“I’m excited. The unknown of what’s coming is a bit of a buzz,” Chris said.

Experienced baby boomers Dan and Carleen are feeling calm and confident ahead of the big day.

“We’re feeling the anticipation, we’re confident about getting something done and hope we can show off what we can do,” Dan said.

Style queens Julia and Sasha are soaking up and savouring their final few hours of proper sleep.        

“We’re nervous and excited at the same time,” Sasha said.

“We’re taking in our last decent sleep in our own bed – which we love.

“We’re really nervous; we’ve never done anything like this before. I think it’s going to be like a huge rollercoaster ride, it will be interesting to see how well we can do.”
