The Block 2022: Scott Cam's First Room Reveal

For the first time in Block history, our very own Scotty Cam is on the tools and it's time to reveal his handy work on his very own tree change.

With not only years of building experience but also years of Block experience, it's the moment we've all been waiting for...Scott Cam's first room reveal!

While he may have got a head start on our couples, it's safe to say Scott Cam (and Frankie) have wowed the judges with their first room reveal at Camalot.

Let's take a closer look at Scotty's handy work!

Master Ensuite

Scotty's Master Ensuite oozes a luxury country vibe. This bathroom has the perfect mix of deep blue baltic tones on the walls paired with the gorgeous star patterned stone tiles. A snug fireplace with statement original artwork, Cornelius by Anna Blatman holding pride of place above. This bathroom is Aussie through and through, with the most perfect toilet roll holder we have ever seen, the Aussie Coat of Arms.

Christian Cole crafted this incredibly beauutiful bathroom vanity especially for Scott. We think it is modern country perfection! 

For me, nothing says country like a claw footed bath! yes please with a side of bath rehab!

The details in this house we could look at all day and find new treasure, even the toilet brush has style!

Kitchenette & Study

Paying homage to both the country and the historical features of the home, Scotty and his team have set up a cosy yet practical room to enable the team to work on site and keep the cuppas freely flowing until the main kitchen is ready.

From the warm tones of the original floor boards, the wall panelling reflecting the house's era and the blue colour palette in the Cloud Sofa and in the freedom kitchenette, this room is a real haven for work and relaxation.

Finished off with a spectacular artwork by talented Melbourne artist, Victoria Hutchins and the gorgeous Sweet Sheep by Tia Alysse. And is that Slim Aaron's print we spy above the fireplace? Scotty has great taste!

Master Bedroom

The Harpoon Blue walls paired with the original timber floorboards create the perfect place for Scotty to rest his head each night and hang his hat after a gruelling day on the set of The Block. With the open fireplace crackling away, he can lay back and admire his Michael Wolfe original artwork and turn on his Framing to a T - TV Mirror without a concern for those contestants painting through the night. If only Shayna was judging the Kinsman walk in robe as there is storage for days! Adam Cullen's famous "Growler" Print has pride of place in the walk in robe and reminds Scotty of his best mate, Frankie the Kelpie. Scotty will always have his suit pressed and will be looking sharp with the V-Zug Refresh Butler - Logies anyone?

Verandah & Hallway Entrance

Take a look at the beautiful verandah and entrance Scotty and his team have created as a part of the first stage of his tree-change renovation. The verandah features natural timber furniture by Black Mango and the hallway is dressed with stunning original artworks by renowned Victorian Artist, Michael Wolfe, set the tone for this beautiful country home.

Scott's facade has used James Hardie Linea™ Weatherboard
