Sneak Peek: Judges have mixed reviews on first room reveals

Renovating and styling a room from top to bottom in only one week is no easy task, but the judges aren’t making any exceptions on delivering anything less than perfect.

A sneak peek of what we can expect from the room reveals shows the new Blockheads talking the talk, but not all walking the walk - as far as our judges are concerned.

Competitive parents Chris and Kim say their design style is modern, but Shaynna Blaze asks where she is when she walks into a room of theirs.

Best mates Ben and Andy are primary school teachers and have a day and a half of renovation experience between them. Much to the boys' surprise, the judges have some very unexpected positive feedback for the duo after walking through one of their rooms.

Melbourne couple Julia and Sasha have the home ground advantage, they’ve renovated before and Julia is a property stylist. They should have The Block in the bag, but the judges slam a room of theirs as "soulless".

Baby boomers Dan and Carleen have renovated eight houses over thirty years and are ready to show the other Blockheads how it’s done. But previous experience doesn’t always equal success on The Block and the judges pick them up on messy finishes in one of their rooms.
