Shelley Craft admits she thinks it will all come down to the Challenge Apartment, and who wins that all-important money off their reserve this week.

It’s still anyone’s game, and almost impossible to pick who will walk away victorious at Auction. But in an exclusive chat with Insider Style, Shelley Craft admits she thinks it will all come down to the Challenge Apartment, and who wins that all-important money off their reserve this week.
“We are doing Challenge apartment this week, and it is THE game changer, because it is money off reserve, as opposed to money in your pockets,” she explains. “I think we are going to see the lead slip around.”
Shelley admits that, unlike Keith and Dan, her money has been on Kerrie And Spence to come through with the goods at auction. Not only because they’ve produced a great apartment, but because of its position within the Gatwick.

“My money was on Apartment One from the beginning - I love it,” she explains. “For the win, not necessarily the biggest price on the day.
“Their reserve is going to be lower, it’s got that beautiful Northerly aspect, in the tree line. Also, Spence’s work is impeccable. And they had that safe, which to me was priceless,” she adds.

Nerves are starting to kick in as auction day is getting closer - it is going to be a nail biter!

But although she admits she’s in love with what they’ve produced, Shelley concedes that this week could end up being the decider. After all, with Courtney and Hans have already nabbed $20k off their reserve, one more win could be enough to pop them way out in front.
“But god knows,” she admits. “And that’s what keeps me coming back year after year - and the viewers.
“I’m a mad skier, and we have a saying in the mountains that ‘Only fools and flatlanders predict the weather in the mountains.’ And I feel like that with The Block - you would be a fool to actually put your money on any particular apartment, even on Auction day.
“You just have no idea what is going to happen. And that’s the joy.”
