It was touch and go there for a while. But Sarah and Jason picked themselves up, dusted themselves off, and went hell-for-leather to complete their stunning master and ensuite along with their kitchen in time for Sunday’s judging. We’re relieved about that too as Scotty had threatened to boot them off the show if they didn’t.
Their efforts didn’t go unnoticed by Shaynna, Neale and Darren.
“They could have been in for a chance of winning,” Darren said, on stepping foot into the simple, yet luxe, retreat space.
Shaynna agreed, saying they had “come back fighting.”
The couple presented a gorgeous, luxe master, complete with beautiful flower print, mustard yellow bed head, an oversized lamp, and two, large over-sized chairs. Their walk-in was finished with beautiful back cabinetry, and a large, impressive gold fan provided another stand-out feature.

The room was carpeted, and the windows dressed with deluxe curtains - all adding to the impressively elegant room.
Arguably, though, the stand-out of their space was the breathtakingly beautiful ensuite, entered through a pair of custom-designed sliding doors.
Sarah chose not to compromise with her initial vision, pushing forward with her plans to use small tiles in the space - effectively tripling their workload - alongside a large, oversized vanity, custom-made vanity.
It worked a treat, with the judges literally speechless upon stepping inside.
They particularly loved the use of parquetry-style tiled floor tile, as well as the stunning marble tiles on the wall, back-lit mirror and dark tapware.
“This has been the best Block comeback ever,” said Neale.
And we have to agree. Well done, guys. We can’t wait to see what you do next.
