Mitch and Mark: “We’re friends with all the contestants”

Forget what you’ve read - this year’s group of Blockheads are a tight bunch. And they've got each other's backs...
The Block has only brought Mitch and Mark closer together.
They’ve been on a wild ride this season, but Mitch and Mark say their time on The Block has only brought them closer together - and they’re walking away from the show with lifelong friends.
“All the contestants - they are a great group of people, we’ve all been through a unique experience and have a special bond that only we all collectively understand,” Mark tells Insider Style. 
Way back on day 1 the contestants fresh and blissfully unaware of epic challenges ahead of them.
The couple, from Sydney’s Bondi, say they also became great friends with previous contestants Alisa and Lysandra, who they paired with on a challenge earlier this season, and they share a life-long bond with their builders, Jason and Steve.
“We are great friends with them and their wives/families,” says Mark. “We’ve been back in Melbourne and always catch up with them, and with so many of the production crew – we feel honoured to call our friends.”
Mitch and Mark became great friends with Alisa and Lysandra, who they paired with for the All-Star Master Bedroom.
As for their completed home - they say they couldn’t be happier with what they have achieved.
“What an amazing week!” they posted on Instagram after last Sunday’s Room Reveals. “The final piece of our vision for the house is complete; we [turned] a problem into an asset; [were] awarded the Domain cover and [finished] all the internal spaces. Our vision designed from Week One is complete!”
They share a life-long bond with their builders, Jason and Steve. “We are great friends with them and their wives/families,” says Mark.
We can’t wait to see what they do for their remaining outdoor space!
