Beccky’s Dream Team Rumbling around Australia - Kidney Kar Rally

The Block's great friends Scott and Nadia - runners up from the latest season of Channel Nine's Reno Rumble are further helping one of the friends they met during filming the show, the Johns family from Bendigo, Victoria. They are raising money and awareness for Kidney Health Australia. Scott and Paul Johns are competing in the 2017 Kidney Kar Rally to raise funds to support the kids programs run by Kidney Health Australia.

Paul and his wife Sue have both donated kidneys to their daughter Beccky who unfortunately passed away just before the filming of the show last year. It was Beccky who applied for the family to be a part of the show as she loved The Block and Reno Rumble and it was a wish of Beccky’s to give back to her amazing parents and sister for all they had done for her during her short time. Beccky also worked tirelessly for Kidney Health to further the great programs to help kids and adults alike.

Scott and Nadia said, “We're very humbled and proud to renovate the homes of all the deserving homeowners, but the Johns family story really touched us and we would do anything to help them. We have stayed great friends.”

The Kidney Kar Rally 2017 runs from the 11th – 19th of August 2017. Competitors will travel from Griffith to Wagga Wagga this year via Tibooburra and is around 5000km through farms and open road.
