Inside the home of The Block's Julian Cress & Sarah Armstrong
- 23 Mar 2018
The Block's Executive producer Julian Cress and our very own co-owner of The Block Shop Sarah Armstrong have listed their home on the market.
This view! The scale, the ceilings, the beams...
This Annandale property sure has history. Originally the home of Archibald prize-winning artist Fred Cress, it recently passed to his son Julian (aka The Block's creator), who worked in collaboration with Block architect Julian Brenchley to update the interior. The property was styled for sale by Interior Design guru & longtime judge of The Block, Darren Palmer.
Look closely and you might recognise the downstairs space as the set for The Block Unlocked, and Scotty's HQ during the All Stars season.
Darren Palmer talks us through this incredible home here at Domain.
Thanks Sarah, for sharing these beautiful pics with us!
Love the herringbone floors.
Feature round rug by Rug Addiction and artifacts from Africanologie.
The exposed brick feauture in the bathroom with industrial black and brass fittings.
Sarah & Julian chose an Industrial Freedom Kitchen with butlers pantry and concrete look Caesarstone bench tops.
So much light to share through this internal courtyard
The hub of the house! Open living & kitchen, exposing again the incredible ceiling heights and beams. Rug by Rug Addiction
One can only imagine sitting out here at dusk! Is it possible for this house to look even better at night?
Fit for a Porche this four car garage with motorised turn table.
