One-half of these winning Block-heads pops up on tonight’s show - and ends up halfway up a chimney!
Steve, who competed with his girlfriend at the time, Chantelle in 2014 walked away with $736,000 profit.
Um, excuse me, but WHO’s that we spy up the chimney at El’ise and Matt’s place? Yep - it’s none other than 2014 contestant Steve O’Donnell!
The ex-Blockhead - who competed and WON The Block back in 2014, along with then-partner Chantelle Ford - makes an appearance in tonight’s episode of The Block, helping the WA contestants assess whether their original chimney is still serviceable some 100 years later.

Why on earth is he advising them, we hear you ask? Well, believe it or not, Steve is actually a chimney sweep (yes, they still exist!) and owns a company specialising in the age-old art, operating out of Melbourne.
Steve, who competed with his girlfriend at the time, Chantelle - who now owns the extremely successful Ford Millinery (Chantelle even made the headdress Kate Miller-Heidke wore when she sang in the Eurovision finale!), parted ways not long after they were on the show. Chantelle is now happily with her French boyfriend Guillaume, while Steve recently proposed to his girlfriend, Jessica Oxwell, back in February.
