Burnt Orange is THE colour trend of The Block 2019
- 27 Aug 2019
Thought that seventies hue was gone for good? Think again! It’s EVERYWHERE on this year’s Block!
It was a seventies mainstay, popping up in our childhood homes and staying the course at Nanna’s house. But this year we’re seeing the return of burnt orange - and boy is it everywhere!
The colour has made a big appearance in Room Reveals, popping up in no less than FOUR of the couple’s finished rooms. Both El’ise and Matt and Mitch and Mark chose to use it as the colour for their curtains, with the WA couple also picking two occasional chairs in the same hue. Mitch and Mark picked out the colour to accessorise their space, opting for burnt orange cushions on their sofas.
Whether you like it or not, there’s no denying this colour makes one heck of a statement. Here are some of our favourite pieces from The Block Shop - are you brave enough to give it a go in YOUR home?
