A self-taught artist, Jess views applying paint to canvas as an extension of her vivid and light-hearted imagination. Although most works begin with a plan, they will often find their own way as they take shape; guided by her desire to challenge herself and see where it leads. Her acrylic paintings are designed to quietly brighten a space by employing colours and subtle textures that aim to bring warmth to the viewer, igniting their own imagination. Based in Geelong, Jess draws inspiration from her beautiful surrounds; country to coast.
