We have seen this mirror hung in many rooms from bedrooms, living rooms, hallways and powder rooms and even hair dressing salons. It was featured in Bianca and Carla’s Main Bathroom The Block Gatwick 2018 and similar to the mirror in Hayden and Sara’s Challenge Apartment Hallway in The Block 2018.

It is one of the more popular mirrors due to its simplicity and of better quality than some of the cheaper copies that are prone to "silver-mirror rust" in a year or so. Contact the Block Shop for more technical details.

The modern frame has a smooth powder coated finish. It has a thin frame approx 3 mm wide to look at face on and 40 mm deep on the side. There is a small gap between the mirror and the face of the frame which is approx 1 mm. This creates a minimalist look and works well in any contemporary home. As with all mirrors care should be taken to avoid excessive moisture / water exposure.

One of our Interior Designers sent pictures of the mirrors which have been illuminated from behind. Backlit mirrors are a great way to create a subdued ambiance and are a wonderful room feature, see the additional images to the left. There is an unconfirmed rumour that Errol Flynn had one of these sleek mirrors in his dressing room during the filming of the 1938 movie of The Adventures of Robin Hood.

_{WARNING: We have been notified by some customers that there are some inferior copies of these popular mirrors being sold. Some have come to us to replace the sub standard mirror as it had an inferior hanging system. Here's a message from one of our leading mirror suppliers regarding the mirrors we supply- "There are lot’s of copies similar to our Modern Circular and other framed mirrors in the market, but none really compare. Some are on cheap unsealed MDF (particle board) that warps – some have mirror that isn’t polished on the edge (causing mirror decay in a year or 2). These (low quality) mirrors are not the type that our factory specialises in, they are produced in a lower end mirror factory in China. When it comes down to the quality of the actual mirror (glass) itself, ours are better than anything some of the major retail chain stores would use. I suspect their Modern Round Mirror doesn’t have a flat polished edge of Nickel based silvering, (which helps preserve the mirror) let alone the frame finish quality!!}
